Just in my generation alone i have seen the picking away of everyday reminders of the Lord. I hve had children in my school that have asked who the man on the cross was or who that was in the nativity scene. No, saying Merry Christmas does not in itself save a person, but the attempt to remove it from society is another bite out of the fabric of the foundations of this nation. A small thing? yes, but in the overall picture not small at all. When i say Merry Christmas i am saying i willo not forget and i trust that the holy Spirit will use what He will in their lives to point them to the truth. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Re: A Primer on Satan & Demons

Hey Nathan,

Thanks for the follow and comment. I think I base it on, as well does Wayne Grudem, on the fact that only God is omnipresent. I agree with ya that Satan is a spiritual being, he is not no spatially limited like we are (bound to a body), but he is not everywhere at one time.

Re: A Primer on Satan & Demons

Hi Jeff,

I've been lurking in your RSS feed for quite a while.

I'm curious as to where the idea that Satan can't be in two places at once comes from Biblically.

I know he's encountered in a physical form in a couple of places (ie temptation of Jesus). But it would seem to me that many of the passages about the "prince of this world" refer to him in a more spiritual sense.

I found your primer pretty useful. Thanks.

Re: _eatbible, Get the book: Jesus the Evangelist, for a donation of any amount.

Got it.. thanks!

Re: _eatbible, The word ‘cute’ doesn’t even do justice here! He complained about what I will call "hit and run" evangelists who aren't in it for Jesus but for a selfish "feel good" sort of thing. He went on to explain that he wants the message to come through living out a "full humanity." I'm not so sure this isn't the same message that you believe in - evangelism as a lifestyle.

Jeff,
I understand your complaint, but be careful not to put words into the mouths of others. I'm not so sure that Jesus is too happy with all of our criticism towards other believers. I heard someone recently say they wanted to be a "film maker" rather than a "film critic." In my years of ministry it hold true that those out front doing the work (like film makers) of the Gospel are usually the same ones being critiqued.

I hope you can receive this through the filter of love that I truly intend to be sprinkled throughout.

Re: _eatbible, Another awful, cheesey, silly “worship” service....

Plus, homegirl really tortured that Fergie lick, huh?

Re: _eatbible, Another awful, cheesey, silly “worship” service....

Dude.
